Services

SLT for Kids offer a range of speech and language therapy services for children with a range of difficulties and conditions in a variety of locations to suit you, including at home, in clinic or in school. Our qualified speech and language therapists will work with you and your child to help you better understand the difficulties your child is experiencing as well as help you to decide the best assessment and therapy programme to suit your child and their needs.

Services we provide include:

Assessment

We provide a range of assessments, including speech assessment, receptive language assessment and dysphagia assessment for children with varying difficulties and conditions.

Therapy

We can provide therapy for a range of speech, language and communication difficulties. We can offer therapy sessions at home, in clinic or at your child’s school, these can be in the form of one to one sessions or group based sessions.

Groups

We offer a range of speech and language therapy groups in schools and in clinic that work on a range of difficulties. Groups available include: attention and listening group, speech group, language group and a social communication group.

Reports

After the completion of an assessment, a written report can be made available upon request. The report will provide you with more information about the findings from the assessment and can be used to support an EHC plan application.

Training

SLT for Kids offer a range of training opportunities for staff to develop their understanding of a range of common speech, language and communication difficulties as well as provide them with different techniques and strategies.

We provide services to schools and education. Your school will be provided with an enthusiastic speech and language therapist that is able to dedicate part of their time to improving speech, language and communication outcomes for the children throughout the school.
