Elizabeth Aulton Senior Speech & Language Therapist

Elizabeth is a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist who qualified from Newcastle University in 2015. Elizabeth is fully registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council.

Elizabeth has experience in working with a diverse client group aged between 2 and 19. She has rich experience in working as a Speech and Language Therapist across educational settings as well as with individual families through the clinic service. She has worked closely with school staff and is able to create long-lasting, positive relationships with children, staff and parents. Elizabeth has experience in assessing and treating children with a variety of communication differences, including; language disorders, social communication, speech sounds, stammering and Autism.

Elizabeth actively ensures that all children and young people that she works with are learning in a communication and language friendly environment.

Elizabeth is keen to promote the evidence base during her practice and regularly updates her knowledge through attending research seminars, RCSLT conference and Clinical Excellence Networks. She has taken part in extra accredited training and is qualified in administering therapy from the Hanen centre and the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering. Elizabeth has a keen interest in supporting children and young people with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) support needs and has accessed additional training to continue to develop these skills.

Elizabeth is a passionate and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist, who ensures that therapy is motivating, person-centred and ultimately fun for each child that she works with.
