Elizabeth is a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist who qualified from Newcastle University in 2015. Elizabeth is fully registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council.
Elizabeth has experience in working with a diverse client group aged between 2 and 19. She has rich experience in working as a Speech and Language Therapist in school settings as well as in clinic. She has worked closely with school staff and is able to create good relationships with children, staff and parents.
Elizabeth has experience in assessing and treating children with a variety of communication difficulties, including; language disorders, speech sound difficulties, stammering and ASD. During her time working in schools she worked hard to devise a programme for children in their early years of school to promote early identification and intervention for children with speech, language and communication needs.
Elizabeth actively ensures that all children and young people that she works with are learning in a communication and language friendly environment.
Elizabeth is keen to promote the evidence base during her practice and regularly updates her knowledge through attending research seminars and Clinical Excellence Networks. She has taken part in extra accredited training through her degree and is now qualified in administering therapy from the Hanen centre and the Michael Palin Centre for Stammering.
Elizabeth is a passionate and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist, who ensures that therapy is motivating and fun for each child that she works with.
